The speed of firewood burning and the amount of heat released depends on the type of wood and its moisture content. Insufficiently dried wood uses part of the thermal energy released during combustion to separate water, i.e. not all thermal energy is used for heating. The moisture released from the wood absorbs the combustion products (soot particles) and, developing a new (sticky) form, covers the interior of your appliance and the walls of the chimney with soot residue. Soot residue reduces the efficiency of your heating device, accelerates its physical wear and tear, causes corrosion of parts and increases the risk of fire inside the chimney shaft. "VITAMINS" IN SOLID FUEL effectively improve the operation and performance of your heating device: increase the amount of thermal energy released and reduce the formation of soot, especially when using fuel with a high moisture content. During the combustion process, the catalytic substances released from the "vitamins" increase the combustion temperature, which accelerates the removal of residual water from the wood and reduces the amount of soot released.
